Team Competition 2008

Melody's physical culture dance group had their annual team event at Homebush Olympic Park. They didn't win anything but had a good time!

New Members of the Family

Just one of the two new additions to our family! Tim hasn't named them yet . . . he is hoping he has a male and a female. They are Pekin ducks.

New Fridge

Nagy bought us a new fridge last week . . . decided we should buy one before the old one gives out as we have had it since we got married which is about 17 1/2 years!

The space for the fridge in our house doesn't allow for a double door fridge, but I am happy with my "ice maker" even though it is manual!! I know, I know . . . it doesn't take much to make me happy.

Tim's Chicken

This is one of Tim's chickens. Tim is rescuing her after the neighbours garage roof was blown into our back yard during a big storm last year.

Mini Olympics

Melody was the flag bearer for "her" country of Japan for the mini olympics held at their school.

Tim's 14th Birthday

Tim celebrated his 14th birthday today. He had some friends from primary school over (he doesn't see them much anymore since he goes to a different school than most of them apart from Ian who goes to youth group with him every Friday evening). I took them bowling, played some arcade games and then came home and had pizza and cake (with peanut butter icing - Tim's favourite!) and cookies and cream ice cream.
